We miss you!
As a charity we rely on visitor income to maintain Swanage Pier and keep it open for the public to enjoy. If you love Swanage Pier, please support us by donating online.
Swanage Pier looks as glorious today as it would have done over 100 years ago. Normally Spring would be one of our busiest times of year - especially in good weather - but we are closed until further notice due to Coronavirus. Even though our gates are closed, the Pier continues to be under attack above and below the waves - from weather, waves and the gribble worm.
We need to raise over £200,000 each year to maintain Swanage Pier. This makes your support vital to the future of the Pier.
Swanage Pier attracts over 105,000 visitors each year. Every time you visit, your admission charge is helping to preserve the Victorian landmark. Between April and July, Swanage Pier would expect to welcome around 43,000 visitors. This year, the Pier has lost around £40,000 of vital income due to the coronavirus, which places the structure at risk.
At this time, when we are temporarily closed to the public, we are asking if you could support us in other ways.
If you would like to support us during this time you can do so in the following ways:
• Donate - any donation big or small is greatly appreciated (don’t forget to Gift Aid)
• Sponsor a Plank - A donation of £125 will provide a brass plaque fixed to a plank on the Pier. https://www.swanagepiertrust.com/plaques
We thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you on the Pier soon.
