Julie, Natalie Terry and Joanne Avery have donated a Christmas tree to the Pier in memory of Julie’s mum and Natalie and Joanna's grandmother, Jean Holman’s.
Jean’s nickname was Barnet as her hair was always immaculate and held in place with lots of hairspray and the family used to joke if she went out in a gale her hair would not move.
Barnet sadly passed away very suddenly at Christmas time and every Christmas it’s hard to celebrate, as it was her favourite time of year to be with her family and spoil them.
Barnet’s family would love for everybody to join them in filling the Christmas tree at the end of the Pier with your baubles in memory of your loved ones over Christmas.
We are unable to keep the baubles, but they will be recycled, or you can collect them back off the tree after the new year.
Normal admission to the pier applies.
