Save Swanage Pier Appeal

The inaugural Purbeck Pirate Festival took place on Friday 29th - Sunday 31st July. The Festival included pirate battles, live canons, Jack Sparrow, shanty singers, and we were delighted to welcome back the Shtandart 'Jolly Roger.'

The event was a great success, attracting over 18,000 people and raising over £15,000 for the 'Save Swanage Pier' appeal. Thank you to everyone who took part and joined us for such a fun event! We are already planning for next year!!

There is a fantastic line up including; Reenactment Battles, Sword Fighting, Canon Fire, Children's Magic Show, Beach School, Rhymetime and tours on the Frigart Shtandart. Over the weekend there will be Shanty Singers, Performers, Live Music and Storytelling for all ages.

The whole weekend will be Pirate style so make sure you dress for the event!!

Pirate Ship - Change of Schedule

The Frigate Shtandart has arrived at the Pier this morning earlier than scheduled and will be departing in the early hours of Friday (30 June).
Come along and take the opportunity to experience what life was like on board a tall ship.
Unfortunatley due to operational reasons the ships timings have been changed at short notice, which is outside our control.
Today the Pier will will remain open until late for tours onboard this magnificant ship.
