The Swanage Pier Summer Raffle is back, offering you the chance to win fantastic prizes while supporting this beloved local landmark.
This year, we are offering a wide array of prizes, including a limited-edition print by local Purbeck artist Cathy Veale, as well as local experiences and unique gifts. There's truly something for everyone!
Renowned local artist Cathy Veale, celebrated for her breathtaking coastal scenes, has long drawn inspiration from the stunning shores of Dorset. Her limited-edition print, Pinnacle Reflection, is a special prize for art lovers and supporters of Swanage Pier.
A highlight of the summer season, the raffle features a variety of exciting prizes, with all proceeds directly supporting the Swanage Pier Trust’s vital work in maintaining the Pier for visitors and the local community. By taking part, you’ll not only be in with a chance to win something truly special but you’ll also contribute to the ongoing care of this beloved coastal landmark.

A Visual History of Swanage Pier

From Saturday 24th May
Located on the Lower Deck of the Pier
Step onto the Lower Deck of Swanage Pier and explore its history through photographs. This exhibition shows Swanage Pier's journey from its Victorian beginnings to its role in maritime history. Each photo tells a part of the Pier's story, showing how it has changed over time. You'll see how Swanage Pier has evolved and remained a beloved landmark.
Photographs will be displayed at the end of the Pier until the end of July.
Normal Pier admission applies.

Park to Pier Walk
Sunday 8th June at 10.30am
Join a Ranger for a guided walk from Durlston Castle to Swanage Pier learning about
wildlife, geology and history of Durlston Country Park and Swanage. Once you reach the Pier, you will have the opportunity for a history talk led by a Pier Volunteer.
Adult - £5.00
Child - £3.00
Booking is not required, just turn up on the day at Durlston Castle Reception.
Make sure to dress for the weather, walking boots are recommended. The walk will include hills and some steps.
Yoga on the Pier
We are excited to announce that the Yoga on the Pier classes will be returning this summer. This will be our seventh year of summer yoga sessions on the Pier and they are such a joy. 
All Levels Guided Class
Tuesday 10th June - Tuesday 26th August at 8.00am
Saturday 28th June & Saturday 19th July at 5.15pm
The Tuesday morning sessions will be a gentle guided flow class suitable for all levels of experience. They will include an introduction to simple breathing techniques, some standing and seated postures and a guided relaxation. We will focus on different elements of the practice each week, sharing simple tools that will support you to develop a deeper awareness of your mind, body and breath. With regular practice, yoga can can be a wonderful t
ool for helping us to cultivate steadiness in our body, breath and mind.
We will explore variations to support everyone to find ways to move that feel comfortable in their own body and we encourage each person to develop awareness of how their body feels as they move and never to push into feelings of discomfort or pain.
All levels and abilities are welcome on Tuesday mornings. We are not able to accommodate children in either class unfortunately.
£12.00 per class
£40.00 for four consecutive dates (either a Tuesday or Thursday)
£70.00 for six classes - throughout the season
Intermediate level guided class
Thursday 12th June - Thursday 28th August at 8.00am 
The Thursday morning sessions are more dynamic in pace and will include the opportunity to explore some more challenging postures. We will explore breath awareness and movement practices, with particular emphasis on building strength and stability. The class will end with a guided relaxation.
Suitable for anyone with an established regular yoga practice who is looking for a more challenging or dynamic class. These classes are not suitable for beginners.

Fish and Chip Cruise 
Friday 18th July
Set sail on an early evening circular cruise to Poole Harbour with Coastal Cruises, departing from Swanage Pier.
The cruise offers vast panoramas of sky, sea and sand as you pass Old Harry Rocks, Studland Bay, Sandbanks and into Poole, Europe's Largest natural harbour.
Fish and chips will be served on the boat at Poole before heading back to Swanage.
All proceeds will go towards supporting the work of Swanage Pier Trust.
£29.50 per person - Includes fish and chips at Poole
Depart from Swanage Pier - 6.30pm / Returns to Swanage - 9pm
